The Best Hotel In Venice

Where should i Stay In Venice and Rome, Italy?
I am having a hard time figuring out where the best locations to Stay In Venice and Rome. I would prefer to stay in an international hotel, near a train station, and hopefully close to the main tourist spots.
Venice is pretty compact you can walk from the train station to Piazza San Marco in 35 to 40 minutes or there’s the vaporetto to get around. I stay in the San Marco area when I’m there rather than near the train station, but there are a lot of options. You can easily get to the tourist attractions on foot from anywhere except the outlying islands like Murano or the Lido. The Hotel Abbazia is close to the train station and is very nice: Hotel Abbazia
Rome is a much larger city. I stay in the Trevi Fountain or Pantheon area most often which aren’t particularly close to a train station, but are walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. If you search the Esquilino-Termini area of Rome on the Venere site, you should be able to find something that meets your criteria. The Radisson Blu for example is right next to the main train station (Roma Termini) and is an international chain. There are also good connections to the rest of the city via the metro or bus. Personally, I would stay somewhere in the middle of the tourist area though.
